My name is Jim, not John. I wish I could write books as "Jim Aquino," but I went with "J. John Aquino" to avoid getting confused with other guys named Jim Aquino.

I run a Tumblr called Accidental Star Trek Cosplay. That blog is currently active. This blog is not. Its final post was published on December 1, 2017.

This blog began as a tie-in to AFOS (A Fistful of Soundtracks), an Internet radio station I ran from 2002 to 2016 (I archived some station content over at HearThis). The station focused on music from film and TV scores. At this blog, I discussed films, TV, and music.

I'm the author of 2020's If You Haven't Seen It, It's New to You: The Movies and TV Shows Some of Us Regretted Not Catching Until Later. My writing has also appeared on Metroactive and Splitsider.
